Research Interest:

Intracellular protein transport, maturation/biogenesis of cell compartments, effects of pharmacological drugs on vesicle transport, connection between structure and function, homeostasis and turnover of proteins, linkage of cellular events to developmental and growth changes of the entire plant.

Key words: endomembrane system, ER, Golgi - structure and integrity, vacuolar turnover, vesicle transport, fusion -SNAREs, multivesicular bodies - ESCRT, degradation/turnover - ubiquitin.
